Since 1978 Mr. Davis has been in a private general civil practice specializing in the presenting and defending of liability cases at trial and on appeal. Past experience includes civil cases involving: product liability claims including ski equipment, windshields, airbags, truck suspensions and brakes, firearms, heavy equipment, temporary structures and electronic appliances; automobile and heavy truck accidents, trust and estate disputes, premises liability, professional liability, governmental liability, insurance bad faith and building design and construction defect litigation. 

Damage claims have involved traumatic brain injury, asphyxiation, paralysis, traumatic amputation, wrongful death, punitive damages and property damages from fires, explosions, improper design, construction defect, construction delays, building code violations, expansive soils and improper drainage. He has experience in preparing and examining experts in fields of product design, product warnings, accident reconstruction, biomechanics, crashworthiness, mechanical systems, metallurgy, source and origin of fires, wind forces and storms, chemicals, toxicology, soil stability, electrical systems, construction methods, building design and construction delays. Mr. Davis also handles the drafting of Wills and Trusts and the Administration of Estates.

Mr. Davis has tried over sixty jury trials to verdict on a wide variety of legal and factual issues. He is lead counsel for Adams County for aircraft noise violations at DIA and has collected over 48 million dollars for Adams County and its cities. He has argued cases before the Colorado State and Federal Courts, Colorado Court of Appeals, Colorado Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit

Mr. Davis is a fourth generation native of Colorado. He earned his degree in Business-Finance from the University of Colorado summa cum laud in 1975, and his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Denver School of Law in May 1978 in the top ten percent of his class. He is a member of the Bar of the State of Colorado, United States District Court for the District of Colorado, United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute and the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys. Mr. Davis enjoys skiing, golf, tennis, platform tennis, road and mountain biking, fishing, mountaineering and woodworking.
